Fort Collins Board of Realtors Hosted Annual Bowl-a-Thon to Benefit one of our Own!

It is hard to go through life and not meet anyone who has been affected by cancer or another kind of life threatening illness.  Whether it is your mom, brother, best friend, coworker, or a perfect stranger, the stories of how courageous people and their families fight for life is one that moves me to my soul.  This why I am so proud to share with you a story of support and love for one of our own.

On May 3rd, the Fort Collins Board of Realtors hosted their Annual Bowl-A-Thon, which focused on raising funds to benefit RE/MAX Realtor, Josh Amerman, in his battle with brain cancer.  Please watch the video clip below to hear the heartfelt speech given by Josh that not only shows his strength and dedication to winning his battle, but also shows the support our community is capable of giving.

Josh Amerman grew up in North Dakota and moved to Colorado with his wife of 7 years, where he ventured into the real estate business.  In this, he found a career he loved on top of a family and team to support him.  Josh is an inspiration to young people and real estate professionals in our community, and has shown us that with courage, strength, a positive attitude, and support; anything is possible.

We were elated by the turnout this fundraiser received and are looking forward to our upcoming event on May 31st that will benefit Josh, as well as, another one of our North Colorado RE/MAX Realtors, Carol Canfield.  The goal is to raise $25,000 by that date to help pay for the exuberant medical bills that these two and their families will be left to pay.
