Cutting it off for a Cause – FCBR “Shearing Party!”

Earlier this May we told you about a great fundraising event hosted by the Fort Collins Board of Realtor that benefited one of our own RE/MAX Realtors, Josh Amerman.  We would now like to invite you to another outstanding opportunity to help make a difference not only in Josh’s life, but in another one of our Fort Collins RE/MAX Realtor’s life, Carol Canfield. 

Both of these brave and giving individuals are suffering from very serious life threatening ailments that require numerous expensive treatments.  We would like to ask for your help in supporting our greater RE/MAX family by coming out to the FCBR’s “Shearing Party and Auction” this May 31st.   This event will help raise funds to offset the costs of treatment for each individual and their families.  The goal of this event is raise $25,000!  We understand this amount might seem like a huge number, but we are confident that through the generosity of our RE/MAX friends, families, and colleagues that we can make it plus some!  Remember every dollar counts, so don’t hesitate to make a donation, no matter how small it may be! 

The Shearing Party will be held at CB & Potts at the Collindale Golf Course on May 31st, 2013 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm.  This event promises to fun and uplifting, so please show your support and come on down.  There will be a live and silent auction, lots of great food and plenty of drinks!  Tickets are only $10.  

All proceeds from this fun event will be donated to Josh and Carol to help their families get through the financial struggles their illnesses are causing.  If we reach our goal of $25,000, RE/MAX Alliance owner Gene Vaughan, 2010-2011 FCBR President Sean Dougherty, and RE/MAX Realtor Jeff Daniels will shave their heads to show they support our beloved friends!
