Thousands and thousands of people will take to the cold streets this weekend to experience this truly amazing free family friendly holiday spectacular. Despite forecasts predicting the coldest temperatures in the history of the parade, event coordinators expect this parade to be one of the largest to date. The city of Denver is encouraging people to come downtown via the light rail or mall shuttle, and spread out along the 2 mile route between 15th and 17th, between Arapahoe and Tremont about 45 minutes before the start times. They would also like to remind people to wear their warmest jackets, gloves and hats, and to even bring thermoses of hot chocolate and blankets if they need it, because the show will go on rain, snow, or shine!
