2014 – A year in review

A few of the many great moments at RE/MAX Alliance in 2014.

2014 — what a year! We are very blessed at RE/MAX Alliance with many new accomplishments and plenty of goals for 2015! While the photo above only demonstrates a FEW of our shining moments from this past year, we wanted to expand on these photos a bit more, and truly cover the many great things that happened in 2014. This post is a yearbook of sorts, our tribute to 2014 — what a fabulous year!!

January was a bit of a quiet month. Our offices are finishing up year-end business, and real estate in general tends to hibernate. It’s nice to always have a bit of peace and quiet. The biggest news in January was probably the Denver Broncos’ journey to the Super Bowl. Many of our offices celebrated by turning casual Fridays into “United in Orange” days, all cheering each week leading up to the Super Bowl where the Broncos, well, um, didn’t quite come out on top, as we’d hoped. Nevertheless, we still bleed Orange and Blue!

Two things were the main focus in February for our offices — Radio-a-thon and award recognition. Alice 105.9’s 36 Hours for Kids is always a good time. Many of our associates and office staff devote a few early morning hours to answering phones at Children’s Hospital in Aurora for the fund-raising event. Alice 105.9 holds the event every year in February, and this year they raised $1.87 million for Children’s Miracle Network!

Now, moving onto awards. By February, and into March, all the stats are finally compiled and reported for the previous year, and many of our offices celebrate and congratulate their agents on production achievements. Here are a few pictures from some of these celebrations.

Continuing with the awards theme, we then moved onto R4. R4 is the annual RE/MAX Convention held in Las Vegas, where thousands of RE/MAX Associates across the globe attend to network, learn, and celebrate.

Even though we didn’t win the largest RE/MAX franchise award this year (we missed it by about 8 associates!), we still had plenty to be thankful for in terms of awards. Speaking of awards, we were so excited when the Denver Business Journal republished their 2013 List of the top real estate brokerages, naming RE/MAX Alliance #1. A huge thanks to all of our associates who made this possible!

Moving from spring, and into summer, we started to see lots of gatherings and social events across our offices. Many celebrated holidays such as Cinco de Mayo, the Kentucky Derby, BBQs, and more!

In addition to celebrating the holidays, many of our offices also host various Client Appreciation Events throughout the summer and fall! We truly would not be where we are today without our clients!!

And of course, it wouldn’t be summer if we didn’t talk about golf. Our two charity golf tournaments, one in Fort Collins, and one in Denver, each year consume a large amount of our summer, planning, gathering, and most importantly, raising funds for Children’s Miracle Network.

This year marked a very special and important milestone in our company’s history with our charity golf tournaments. For the first time in over 20 years, we met and surpassed our goal of raising $100,000 NET proceeds to Children’s Miracle Network:
