This fully staged production of Gian Carlo Menotti’s one-act opera tells the story of a Christmas miracle that takes places when the Magi stop on their way to Bethlehem to spend the night at the home of a young boy and his mother. The choir, accompanied by the Jefferson Symphony Orchestra, will also perform holiday classics.

December 31: Skate the Lake
Spend New Year’s Eve on Evergreen Lake, rated by CNN and Sunset Magazine as one of the world’s Top 10 Most Beautiful Outdoor Ice Skating Rinks! The event goes from 6 p.m. to midnight with fireworks at 8 p.m. and midnight. Rent ice skates or bring your own, if possible, as quantities are limited. Winter sports helmets are strongly encouraged! This event sells out, so buy your tickets early. Ages 9 to adult are $20 and 8 and under are free. You can find a list of places to buy tickets on the website.
