Over the last few years, we’ve depended on them to be our sanctuary, become an alternate office or classroom, and even carry us through challenging seasons. So, of course, we can fall out of love with our homes after a while. These tips may inspire you if you’re looking for ways to rekindle peace, comfort, and enjoyment in your space.
1) Let go of what isn’t necessary.
Decluttering – the first tip we give our sellers when preparing their homes. It’s just as excellent to begin breathing life into your property.
2) Minimizing to create space.
Not that you need to become a minimalist. Just aim to create a more “light and airy” feel. Perhaps it is the blank canvas you need to reinvent your home.
3) Use meaningful pieces.
If your décor is feeling a bit generic, start incorporating more unique items. Highlight family memorabilia, souvenirs, or even purchase from consignment shops and used furniture stores.
4) Spruce up your entrance.
