Dog-Friendly Hikes Along The Front Range

The Front Range was built for outdoor adventures with our pups! Our furry family members are always ready, willing, and eager to hit the trail. And the destinations below welcome you two to have fun. Just some friendly reminders as you prepare:
- Leashes protect your dog from aggressive animals and keep hikers (especially small kids) feeling more comfortable. It’s why they’re required at every location on the list.
- Pack for two. Make sure you have sufficient treats, water, and accessories for your dog. That includes supplies for first aid and if the area lacks shade (dogs overheat faster than we do).
- Clean up your dog’s waste to protect the environment and other animals.
- Don’t assume every hiker wants to greet your dog. Be sure to ask out of good etiquette.
- Never to leave your dog in the vehicle without the windows cracked. Especially on a sunny day, the temperature can rapidly soar.
