Christmas in Colorado 2013
Once again I have to say Colorado’s weather has surprised me! I can’t believe it is almost Christmas, December 19th, 2013 to be exact, and I actually heard on the radio that the weather was in the 70’s yesterday in the Front Range. Even though we might not have a white Christmas, there is no denying that Colorado is in full holiday swing. If you have not already gotten out to celebrate the season or taken the little ones to see Santa, this weekend is supposed to be beautiful and would be the perfect time for a little Christmas fun, Colorado style! So if you are looking for something to do with the family this weekend, you will not want to miss these great opportunities for seasonal fun and to see Jolly Old Saint Nick this weekend.

This event is definitely one of my personal favorites and is host to tons family fun and holiday shopping opportunities. Even though Santa is the highlight of the event, there is so much more to do there. From toy car race tracks, model train sets, an old school arcade shooting range, and tons of sample merchandise to explore, The Bass Pro Shop is both a great time for kids and adults. When planning to see Santa you will want to call ahead to see if they are still doing ticket times. If so and you plan on attending during prime time, you should send someone out early and have the rest of the family meet you around the designated time for your free 4×6 portrait. This event goes from Monday to Friday from 3pm to 8pm and Saturday from 10am to 8pm and Sunday from noon to 5pm.
