Buying Your Perfect Next Home
Finding the perfect next home doesn’t need to be complicated, in fact it shouldn’t be! Moving is stressful enough, so anything you can do to simplify the process, the better off you’ll be.
Getting ready to purchase a new home revs up our creative juices. Most of us get a bit dreamy eyed as we contemplate what our next home should be like.
Based on all the house hunting and home decorating shows, a good friend who was getting ready to buy their first home, thought they just had to have a fully equipped outdoor kitchen. There were two problems with this item on their wish list. It became apparent very quickly, as we sat together and went over their buying budget.
Looking at the available homes with this particular feature, they swiftly came to a new reality. That outdoor kitchen was a nice dream, but not realistic. Not only did homes with that feature carry a much larger price tag than their budget would allow, it would be a terrible waste of space. See, they very seldom cooked outdoors and because of a major aversion to bugs of all kinds, they choose to never sit outdoors to eat a meal!
There are features that are perfect for some, but not so perfect for others. Your lifestyle should dictate the list you create, prioritizing those most important must have features that support how you live against those dreamy ideas for your next home purchase.
Winnowing down that list to eliminate those things that do not enhance your everyday activities can save you both time and money.
