Beth Warden Celebrates 30 Years with RE/MAX Alliance
“There is no way that I can properly put in words the gratitude that I feel for the 30 years of loyal dedication to our company and associates! We appreciate all of her efforts in providing such a high level of service and contributing to the success of our associates!”
Charles (Chuck) Ochsner- Owner RE/MAX Alliance
If you have been with RE/MAX for any amount of the time the chances are extremely high that you had the pleasure of meeting and/or being helped by one of our long time office administrators. We would like to honor Beth Warden for her extraordinary service and dedication to RE/MAX Alliance for the past 30 years! Beth is an intricate component of RE/MAX Alliance’s success and over the years has become indispensable. From the company’s modest beginning, just shortly after it was acquired by Chuck Ochsner, to its present state as the leading RE/MAX franchise in the world, Beth Warden has been there. In researching for this feature blog I asked Beth if she could provide me with bit of a bio and what I got was a cute story of how it all began.
Upon moving to Colorado as a newlywed, Beth walked into the RE/MAX West Office located in the old United Bank Building at 80th and Wadsworth to pay her rent and walked out with a job! She was asked what she was up to that day and full of excitement, Beth happened to mention she was on her way to the local employment agency to start her search for a job. Beth was told that the company had an opening and met with Tom Zundel, who was the managing Broker at the time, and left with what would become her lifelong career!
Beth went on to recall how just a few agents, approximately 12, grew to become one of the largest RE/MAX Alliance offices we have. She also reminisced about how things have changed from what we would now consider the rustic times in the real estate industry. For those younger agents you will have to use your imagination, but for our more senior agents, I am sure you are able to recall when: you had to access the MLS through a special piece of equipment that connected to the telephone receiver and printed out everything on thermal paper, a fax machine was a pure luxury, brochures were type out on a typewriter for new listings, and everything else was done by hand! She concluded by saying how blessed she feels to have had the pleasure to work with four managers and with such wonderful co-workers along the way.
